About the Author

Annie Heminway, a translator and editor for Francophone publishers, teaches grammar, creative writing, translation, African cinema and Francophone literature at the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies. In 2006 she was awarded the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques by the French government in recognition of her work promoting the study of French.
